KETEK has kicked off volume production of its own Graphene window after a successful long-term test period.
Compared to the established 8µm Beryllium window, the new Graphene window offers a better transmission especially at the lower energy range. Therefore, shorter measurement times and lower detection limits are possible. Unlike Beryllium, the Graphene window is non-toxic which is a significant improvement with regards to work safety.
