VITUS H Class
Higher collimated Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) area for
maximum peak to background.
VITUS H class SDD modules are dedicated for x-ray energies between 250eV and 30keV in applications as EDS and (T)XRF that require excellent peak to background ratios up to 20.000.
VITUS R Class
Larger active area for shorter measurement times
SDD areas from 10 to 100mm² of our R class types offer higher count rates at given signal strength leading to shorter spectrum acquisition times
